Cool Projects also has interests in 2 other areas, Core Drilling and Core Concrete. We offer services that allow us to cut or drill through concrete up to 200mm thick. These services are especially useful in the building and alteration scenario. We can cut concrete perfectly straight using metered guides and laser measurement. Core Drilling
The DD200 is one of the best drills around, made by one of the best companies in the business, Hilti. It is a high quality, high endurance machine that eats it's way through any concrete or reinforcing that may be in the way! We can drill vertically or horizontally at angles from 0 degrees to 45 degrees, and 50mm up to 400mm.
Concrete Cutting
For concrete walls up to 520mm thick, wall sawing provides the quickest and cleanest method. Absence of vibration allows Hilti's diamond-tipped saw blades to cut through any type of concrete without damage to adjoining wall areas. A finished edge to the completed job means that no additional "making good" is necessary.
